pantone >> in home

Design inspiration definitely isn't something that only translates into garments.  On the contrary, I am quite obsessed with interior design and decorating as well, because for me, if the atmosphere isn't inspiring, then it is quite difficult for me to create.

Anyhoo, the point of all of this is that I am currently obsessing over the idea of Pantone's radiant orchid in the home.  I'm not usually a fan of purple, but this specific shade range seems to flow so seamlessly, not to mention beautifully within a home.  Take a look at some of the ways to pop it into your home, whether it be an entire room makeover or solely a pillow in the corner.

Now, for those of us who aren't ready and willing to re-paint our entire home, here are some simple and subtle ways to vamp up your home with this year's color...

pops of color with sweet chairs and oversized couch pillows.  also, that printed pillow to tie it all together??  YES!

okay, can i just swoon over this rug a little more?  i am in absolute adoration of the jewel tone of this particular shade.  it's not overly-purply and is so fun!  i am also in love with the print of it, it's so on trend with the tribal-esque feel without being in your face.  and to the right?  i mean, can we say classic elegance?  bring the color into your room with flowers, vases, and of course a lamp to tie it all together simply and subtley.

Inspired??  Bring the shade into your home and feel free to share your creative thought and execution.
